About

b. 1998, Newport , South Wales, UK.

Ethan Fowler has been taking photos for most of his life, even at the tender age of 3 when he was gifted a small film camera to keep himself quiet and entertained as a child.

As Ethan has grown up very invested in history, especially on how the world has been shaped after wars and significant events, he has gravitated towards documenting protests and activism across the UK in hope he can add his work to the history books to show future generations what is happening in today’s economy from an unbiased view.

When he isn’t documenting protests, he is working on personal projects or documenting the Welsh landscapes on medium format film.

Ethan prefers a methodical and involving approach to his work, whilst shooting on digital is the norm in today’s world, Ethan only photographs using 35mm film.
